KAREN RAINGOLD: Karen work has matured significantly over the last few months. She has chosen a wonderful story from Oscar Wilde to illustrate that is perfect for the urban landscape. She has thought about her audience and how they will come to this revised material.

It was suggested that the relationship in her illustrations should be a same sex one because Wilde was a gay man. Tutor suggested that things could be left ambiguous.

There are lovely drawings in the sketchbook and the beginnings of some experimental work. Karen presented a finished piece of artwork for the project and the group received it with enthusiasm.

Karen will definitely meet the deadline in June and this will be the best work she has produced so far on the course.
